CS4204 is an industrial grade conventional gateway with high reliability, with over 300 industrial general/industry specific protocol libraries.
CS4204 is an economical gateway mainly used for power environment monitoring, protocol access and conversion between inverters on the lower side of distribution boxes in photovoltaic/energy storage substations and upper monitoring systems, protocol access and conversion of distribution cabinet equipment in distribution automation systems, and can also be widely used for device access and transmission in IoT sites.
CS4204 has a strong price advantage and is suitable for large-scale on-site application deployment.

3.1 Technical description
CS4204, equipped with 2 100M Ethernet ports, 4 RS485 ports, 2 RS485 ports, and 2 CAN network ports, is an industrial grade design that is stable and reliable. It is widely used in automation monitoring scenarios in new energy, power, oil, factories and mines, as well as the Internet of Things industry. It is currently the most competitive and easily expandable economical conventional gateway in the gateway market.
CS4204 is equipped with a massive protocol interpretation library and real-time database, which can connect various protection devices, measurement and control devices, IEDs and other devices at home and abroad, and supports IEC61850. Special protocols can be customized according to user requirements; Provide open APIs for users to develop their own protocol software, which can be downloaded independently.
CS4204 supports access to dozens of devices, data protocol parsing, conversion, and unified transmission.
CS4204 supports three configuration methods:
Built in WEB management for querying/configuring device operating parameters through a browser
Dedicated configuration software for configuring device parameters
Remote management in the cloud, configuring and diagnosing gateways through the cloud, achieving firmware and application upgrades
CS4204 uses a unique iCoupler ® The digital isolation technology, RS485 automatic direction control, and RS485 zero delay transmission technology fully consider the special characteristics of industrial field applications in design, follow EMI/EMC design specifications, and adapt to various harsh industrial and IoT sites.
CS4204 supports 2-way CAN network (multiplexed with 3-4 RS485), supports Modbus protocol and CANOPEN protocol of CAN.
